It was another beautiful weekend in the Ozarks. We hope you all were able to enjoy it!
It is Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week (May 4 - 8). Please take time to reach out to your students teachers, past and present, to let them know how much you appreciate all they do for our students!

* Wednesday Late Start - Once students arrive on campus they are NOT to leave school property. Any students leaving school are subject to school discipline.
* Class of 2026 Kickapoo Graduation will be Saturday, May 16 at 7 p.m. at Great Southern Bank Arena
May 15 - 'Donut Want it to End' Breakfast 8 a.m. followed by graduation practice and Senior Send Off.
May 16 - Graduation 7 p.m. at Great Southern Bank Arena.
Seniors
Students who are graduating will return Chromebooks starting May 13th to bins in the library. Do NOT return your device until you have completed all work and finals.
Grades 9-11
Students NOT returning to Kickapoo or SPS next year: If you will NOT be returning to SPS (seated or virtual) in the fall AND are not taking an Explore class this summer, you should return your device once all work and finals are completed.
Grades 9-11
Students in grades 9 through 11 should keep their Chromebooks for the summer. Students are expected to return with the same Chromebook in August. Failure to do so may result in a fine.
Hotspots
Students not taking an online Launch course must return
their hotspot to the school library before May 22nd.
To pick up your book you must have your school ID. You may pick up books for siblings but not friends. If your name is not on the sales list, you will need to provide some type of proof of purchase. Receipt, bank statement deduction, copy of check, etc.
We have a limited number of books for sale and once they are gone they are gone. We will not hold books. $60 cash, check, or card. We will have the card reader available during lunches only.
Online students and early grads may pick up their preordered books in the main office with Ms. Bricker.

* Tribe Cards - Will be distributed during lunch Thursday, May 7th. You can pick them up in the counseling office after May 7th. These are based on 3rd quarter data for at least of these:
- All A’s
- All A’s & B’s
- GPA increase of .50 or more
- 98% - 100% Attendance
Reward Choices are:
- 5 points added to lowest TEST grade. Does NOT include Final exam
- 1 free daily work pass – 1 daily assignment waived
- 1 extended time – 1 extra day with no late penalty on an assignment. Can’t be used on projects, tests, summatives, or during finals week
* Students MUST have ID badges on them at all times during the school day.
* ID Badges are required for ALL sporting events. No ID = NO admittance to the game.
- Any students needing WiFi can request a Kajeet hotspot through our library.
- Kickapoo will open our doors at 7:40 a.m. and first block begins at 8:10 a.m. every day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday.
- Wednesday is late start for students so staff may participate in professional learning. Classes begin at 8:40 a.m. ALL BUSSES WILL RUN AT NORMAL TIMES.
- Classes end at 3:10 p.m. every day.
- All students should leave school/campus by 3:25 p.m. unless directly supervised by a teacher, coach, or sponsor.
- Students should take home Chromebooks every day and charge them each night.
- Deliveries to school - Parents/guardians may deliver food and other items to school. We ask that you label and leave them on the table. Please communicate with your student to let them know items have been dropped off for them as we do not contact them.
- NO FOOD or DRINK DELIVERIES FROM OUTSIDE VENDORS. Thank you!
- Dress code - Follow all dress code expectations. Cover ALL B's!
