Kickapoo Families,
We had a great turnout for Parent Teacher conferences last week. Thank you for everyone
taking time to connect with your child(ren)s teachers. If you were unable to make it OR you
would like to schedule a time at any point during the year please don’t hesitate to reach out
to teachers or counselors.
As a reminder the information I share here is NOT all inclusive to what is happening
at Kickapoo High School. You will find much, much more on our new website you can
found in the left column. I would recommend checking this daily to stay informed of the
KHS happenings.
I would also encourage you to connect with us via social media as we share what’s
going on at KHS. Check us out on

Drop Off & Pick up
A few reminders and requests regarding drop off and pick up at KHS. Our number one
priority is the safety of our students/your child(ren)!
With this we need everyone to please do NOT drop off students in the middle of the street
(Jefferson and/or Primrose).
Also, please DO NOT park in local business parking lots. Thank you.
We allow students in the building beginning at 7:20 each morning and classes start at 7:50
Monday - Thursday and at 8:20 on Friday’s.
Thank you for making KHS as safe as possible for ALL students.
Ignite Info - All students received their Chromebooks on the first day of school or when
even more about IGNITE here.
Phone calls regarding D’s/F’s
Stay tuned - if your student is receiving a D and/or F in any of their classes you will be
receiving an phone call encouraging you to go to eSchool Home Access to check your
child's grades. I would also recommend you connect with the teachers to find out how we
can partner to ensure your student has success in ALL classes.
Contact the main office at 523-8500 for details.
Thank you!
A HUGE shout out to the Kickapoo families who volunteered their time serving or preparing
and bringing in food and drinks for our teachers last night for Parent Teacher conferences!
