Kickapoo Families,
Welcome to the 2018 - 2019 school year!
We hope each of you enjoys the three day Labor Day weekend.
We are off to a fantastic start with just over 1,900 students currently enrolled.
It is an exciting time of the years as our Fall activities are all underway as our students
are engaged in a wide variety of academic and athletic endeavors.
My goal is to send out this communication on a weekly basis to keep each of you as
informed as possible.
At this time I am emailing this to those families we have a current email address on file.
I am also tweeting it out via my personal Twitter account @DrPowersKHS and
the Kickapoo Twitter @KickapooChiefs
Please note the information I share here is NOT all inclusive to what is happening at
Kickapoo High School.
Also, our current website is in transition due to SPS changing all site websites.
to share it with you and begin posting this weekly update on the website as well.
I would also encourage you to connect with us via social media. Check us out on
