Aug. 29, 2016 Announcements

Hello Cherokee Families,
We hope you all had a great weekend!
Thank you for continuing to support and encourage our students to start the school year strong by being on time every day, being present every day, and giving their best effort every day. We appreciate your support at home.
A few carline reminders: 1) Please pull as far forward as possible before dropping your student off. 2) Please DO NOT drop off at the athletic/west parking lot as this is where our busses drop off. Please DO NOT drop your children off on the street. 3) After you have dropped your child off you may, with extreme caution, pull out to the left and exit our parking lot. Remember we have two exits you may use.

Chromebooks Went Home Today

Cherokee families,

Today all Cherokee students received a Chromebook laptop, charger, and bag.
This device is the students to use at school and home for the school year.

Students are expected to take them home every evening to charge them up for the next day. Students are NOT to leave them in their lockers.

IF you would like your child to leave their device at school please contact me, one of your students teachers, or our librarian. Students not taking devices home must leave them in the library each evening and check them out each morning.

Here is a link to our website. On the left side of the home page is all the important information about IGNiTE. Please let us know if you have any questions about the optional insurance, Canvas access, or the wifi hotspot.

Have a great evening and #GoIndians
