We hope each of you were able to enjoy the weekend despite all the rain.
April is quickly coming to a close and we have just 14 days remaining with our seniors and 19 days with everyone else. We need everyone to continue to be in school and engaged everyday.

- Tickets are on sale during lunch this week, April 29th - May 3rd. Cost is $40 each.
- Dance guest forms are available in the main office and must be returned completed to Ms. Bricker prior to purchasing a ticket.
- All fees and fines must be paid prior to purchasing tickets. See Mrs. Liston in the Financial Office to take care of those. Library fees are paid to the librarians.
- You MUST be in attendance all day Friday, May 3rd in order to attend Prom that night. If you have an appointment scheduled that day, it needs to be rescheduled! If it cannot be rescheduled, then your parent must contact Mrs. Helfrecht to obtain prior approval for your absence by Thursday, May 2nd.
Decision Day Celebration will include:
- Signing station for students to let us know their future plans (college, military, trade school, workforce)
- Snacks/ice cream
- Signing of the “Class of 24” sign
- Map of schools students are attending
- Future plans photo booth
3rd Block - Seniors will be in class, but can visit the event again during their lunch
We encourage ALL seniors to participate in this event on May 1st. We look forward to recognizing all seniors and their future plans!
- 90% overall attendance (school-sponsored activities do not count as absences) per semester
- Received no ISS or OSS for the semester
- Passing the class with an 80% or greater prior to the final exam
- Exempt students may take the final to improve their grade in a class; in this case, the final grade cannot hurt the student’s overall grade
- Required to attend class during the final exam block and complete optional enrichment tasks provided
- Dual credit, AP, and Launch virtual classes are NOT eligible for final exemptions.

- Any students needing WiFi can request a Kajeet hotspot through our library.
- Kickapoo will open our doors at 7:40 a.m. & first block begins at 8:10 a.m. every day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday.
- Wednesday is late start for students so staff may participate in professional learning. Classes begin at 8:40 a.m. ALL BUSSES WILL RUN AT NORMAL TIMES.
- Classes end at 3:10 p.m. every day.
- All students should leave school/campus by 3:45 p.m. unless directly supervised by a teacher, coach, or sponsor.
- Students should take home Chromebooks every day & Charge them each night.
- Deliveries to school - Parents/guardians may deliver items to school for your student. We ask that you label and leave them on the table inside the office. Please communicate with your student to let them know items have been dropped off for them as we do not contact them.
- ID badges and dress code - ALL students must have an ID every day. Follow all dress code expectations. Cover ALL B's!
- Need a School ID? Request one from a teacher or go to the ID badge room before school, during lunch, or immediately after school.
